The 2025 Nobel Prize in Economics was awarded in Stockholm to Joel Mokyr (USA-Israel), Frenchman Philippe Aghion, and Canadian Peter Howitt.
The recognition, in the citations of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences, for "having explained innovation-driven economic growth".
