This is Dinamo's third appearance in Serie A2, having played in the second division basketball league in 1990 as a rookie, then in 2003 when they climbed back up after being relegated to Serie B, and now they're doing so after 16 seasons in the top division.

The game will be played on Sunday in Milan, kicking off at 6 p.m., against Urania, a club considered an outsider due to the presence of veteran coach Sacripanti and a talented quartet made up of Alessandro and Stefano Gentile (the latter spent 6 years in Sassari), guard Grayson and center Morse, plus some interesting Italians: Morgillo, Saccoccia, and Italiano, even by surname.

The Sardinian bench arrives late in the amalgamation of a group rebuilt from scratch and with Luca Vitali as rookie head coach.

Injuries and late arrivals have affected preparations. Canadian point guard Kajami-Keane, point guard Pisano, and winger Michele Vitali will be missing today. Monaldi and Young will therefore be asked to make greater offensive contributions.
