Cagliari welcomes a new healthcare facility from the CDS (La tua Casa della Salute) network, which, with the opening of the center at Via E. Jenner 19, reaches a total of 40 facilities across Liguria, Piedmont, and Sardinia. This is the island's second location, following the one in Sassari, which opened last summer. The clinic will be open to the public for medical examinations, diagnostic imaging, and dental services starting December 1st .

Renovated structure and cutting-edge technologies

The building, completely renovated after a total renovation and spread over three floors for approximately one thousand square meters, houses seven offices for specialist visits, an ultrasound office , a large dental area equipped with three combined offices and a complete department dedicated to diagnostic imaging .

In line with the group's standards, the facility offers modern and welcoming spaces, state-of-the-art equipment, and agreements with major healthcare funds. Among the most notable features is the Siemens Magnetom Altea MRI , a high-field system (1.5 tesla) equipped with the Deep Resolve artificial intelligence module, which enables sharper images and an optimized workflow for specialists. The center was designed according to the most advanced energy efficiency criteria, thanks to the insulation of the rooms and the installation of a BMS (Building Management System) , a digital infrastructure that ensures optimized consumption management.

Investment in the territory and affordable rates

Sardinia represents a strategic territory for CDS, as confirmed by CEO and founder Marco Fertonani :
We arrived in Sardinia with great enthusiasm and a sense of responsibility. Our experience in Sassari has given us very positive feedback. In Cagliari too, we want to be a partner with public healthcare, working in synergy rather than overlapping, addressing low- and medium-complexity care with private-sector timeframes and prices similar to those of the public sector .

The opening of the new center, which involved the hiring of approximately 15 local professionals , also allowed the valorization of a property that had been unused since 2022.

The price list reflects CDS's philosophy of making healthcare accessible:

  • MRI and CT scan: 70 euros
  • Full abdominal ultrasound: 60 euros
  • Mammography: 65 euros
  • Cardiology visit + ECG: 80 euros
  • Eye examination + fundus oculi: 90 euros

The partnership with Cagliari Calcio

The group is also expanding its commitment to the world of sports. Following partnerships with Genoa, Sampdoria, the Giro d'Italia, and Dinamo Basket, this season CDS becomes the official healthcare partner of Cagliari Calcio , taking care of the medical management of all registered players.

The partnership was officially presented to the public during the home match against Genoa, during which electronic violinist Eleonora Montagnana performed on the pitch before kickoff. At the same time, CDS launched the CDS Club Casteddu , a program dedicated to fans with discounted rates and additional services.

A model created to guarantee "healthcare for all"

The idea behind CDS is rooted in the personal experience of Marco Fertonani, who recalls how, during his sporting career in Spain, he observed the first dental clinics capable of combining quality and competitive prices:
" I thought about bringing that model to Italy, starting with diagnostics and specialist visits, where waiting times in the public sector could reach up to a year and costs in the private sector were prohibitive ."

Patients' response confirmed the validity of the project:
« In the early years, I received letters from people thanking me for the opportunity to receive treatment quickly and at an affordable cost. It was a sign that we were doing something that hadn't existed before . »

The central element of the CDS model is prevention , made possible by prices similar to those of the ticket:
" I like to say that we treat healthy people. By facilitating access to tests and check-ups, we enable early intervention, preventing future complications and contributing to the well-being of the entire community ."

Today, the network has over 600 employees, more than 1,200 doctors, 1.2 million annual services, and 40 facilities in Liguria, Piedmont, and Sardinia.
