Olbia is ready to welcome methane, joining the other eleven Sardinian municipalities involved in the program to convert city gas from LPG to natural gas, promoted by the local distributor Medea . The conversion of Olbia was divided into three phases, to be completed by 6 December. Gaxa , the main energy supplier in Sardinia , has already started methane sales in the Municipality.

How to guarantee the continuity of your gas supply on the network?

On the scheduled conversion date, the supply of LPG to the network will automatically cease. It is essential to sign a methane supply contract with Gaxa before this deadline, so as to guarantee continuity of supply without interruption of service. The citizens of Olbia will be able to benefit from a more convenient energy option , with savings of up to 30% in costs compared to LPG on the network, and with a lower environmental impact .

How do you switch to methane?

The transition to methane will be simple and quick for those who are already served by LPG in the network: after signing the contract, the Customer will be contacted by an installer who will adapt the gas system to use methane and provide the appropriate certification . By entrusting the work to the technician affiliated with Gaxa, the costs of adapting the system will be borne by the Sardinian company up to a maximum of 500 euros , VAT included.
