Entries to the basket, 3-point shots, defense and blocks but above all lots of healthy fun, enhanced in this edition by the "IntegriAmoci" project which will see the participation of 7 clubs made up of athletes with intellectual disabilities.
The Fisb streetball circuit (3 vs 3 basketball) starts again today from Domusnovas, which will see 20 stages played on the island with a conclusion in Pula in early September. Over 60 island basketball clubs involved for a great celebration of sport and inclusion. As many as 150 athletes will be involved today and tomorrow in Domusnovas in the event entitled "Domus Steet Festival" which will open the calendar. In the evocative setting of the Scarzella park we start in the evening with mini basketball and continue between today and tomorrow with the amateurs, the under 12, 14 and 16 categories and the men's and women's pros.
«A continually growing event - comments Luca Manchetti, FISB Sardinia regional manager - as confirmed by the 5 additional stages planned this year and the many basketball players who have registered. It's almost an obligation to start again from Domusnovas in the splendid location of the Scarzella park which started it all 3 years ago." It is the Poliportiva Domus that organizes and coordinates the Domusnove stages: «For us - explains Sonia Cannas of the management - it is an honor to open the circuit and have fun. Our company was born 3 years ago thanks to the first edition of this event which has now become a fixed and much awaited event in the Domusnovese summer". Sports councilor Davide Aru's comment was enthusiastic: «It will be a beautiful celebration of sport and inclusion in which we will have the honor of hosting 4 basketball clubs with special athletes. I invite everyone to the Scarzella park also to make them feel all our support."
