There is also the Cagliari company Lucido Sottile among the eight productions of the Italian theater selected for the tenth edition of “In Scena! Italian Theater Festival NY” , an Italian theater event organized in New York by Kairos Italy Theater and Kit Italia together with Casa Italiana Zerilli-Marimò at NYU, which kicked off on May 1st and ended on Tuesday 16th.

The show "DDD! Donne donnette e donnecce", written and directed by Tiziana Troja, will be presented in New York on Friday 12 May at 6 pm in the spaces of Casa Italiana Zerilli-Marimò and on Sunday 14 at 6.30 pm at the Vino Theater.

The comedy, self-deprecating and brilliant with a surprise ending , brings two actresses to the stage, played by Michela Sale Musio and Tiziana Troja, who make up a comic duo on the verge of a nervous breakdown as they try to re-propose themselves in a new artistic project between confidences , rivalry, hypocrisy, clichés and low blows of the entertainment world.

Angelo Trofa, Valentina Fadda and Michele Sarti are also on stage, the costumes are by Filippo Grandulli and the music by Davide Sardo.

The company of Michela Sale Musio and Tiziana Troja, born in Cagliari 21 years ago, therefore returns to New York after participating in the 2018 edition of In scena!. Now it has been chosen together with seven others to narrate Italian theater at the New York festival, which since its first edition has been included as an official event of the Year of Italian Culture in the United States under the high patronage of the President of the Italian Republic, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Italian Embassy in Washington, DC
