The announcement for the second edition of the literary competition Premio Laura Grasso, part of the Rainbook Festival and dedicated to the memory of the historic activist of the island's LGBTQIA+ community who passed away five years ago, is online.

Organized by the cultural association Baa BàAPS, the competition celebrates diversity through writing, providing a platform to stimulate creativity and promote awareness.

In 2024, the competition registered the participation of twenty-nine works. In the unpublished section last year, the winner was "Now that space is all mine" by Giorgio Baiocco, soon to be published by Janus Editore.

"Stranizza" by Valerio La Martire is the first among the works already published.

Two sections are also planned for the 2025 edition with prizes of 300 and 500 euros.
