The regional councilor for Labor is responsible for healthcare. She had promised it, and "I have only one word to say." For one day a week, Desiré Manca will open the doors of her office in Sassari (her hometown) to "her people" to listen to the "health problems" experienced "in the Sassari area."
The announcement follows the usual social media tone of the Five Star Movement representative. Political statements are accompanied by close-up photos of him.
"I wrote this a few days ago, and I'm not in the habit of backing out," the text reads. "It was October 14, 2025. On that date, I wrote that as a regional councilor, faced with an ever-growing number of citizens contacting me about healthcare issues, I wouldn't back down. Indeed, I would dedicate time to listening to their healthcare needs, especially those of those vulnerable, defenseless, and forgotten people."
Now, says Manca, "that day has arrived : I will receive anyone who wants to speak to me about health issues in the Sassari area, starting on November 7th." It will happen in the morning, for three hours.
