The long season of San Teodoro continues with a maxi event that still feels like summer. On Friday 13 October the Gallura center is preparing to welcome The Kolors, the Italian musical group who wrote the song Italodisco, one of the most popular songs of the summer.

The 2023 hit, written by Stash and Davide Petrella, and produced by Stash, Zef and Starchild, will make the audience in Piazza Gallura dance in a free concert for which a real invasion of young and very young people is expected.

The event, scheduled from 10pm, is organized by Renato and Gianni Piccinnu's R&G Music and financed by the Municipality of San Teodoro, which is attempting to repeat the great success of last year's autumn concerts.

The king of the hits of the summer just gone, a sold out tour, packed squares for the Neapolitan band fresh winner of the "power hits summer", almost 80 million audio streaming for the song that went double platinum in Italy.

Italodisco is a tribute to the genre that in the 80s led Italy to be a point of reference for electronic music. The Kolors draw heavily from the masters of those years, including Giorgio Moroder and Righeira, thus inaugurating a new chapter in their musical journey. Straight case and nostalgic vibes mix with clear images and precise references to some trademarks of Italian disco music.

Who they are – Passionate about rock and electronic music, The Kolors (born: Antonio Stash Fiordispino on vocals and guitar, Alex Fiordispino on drums and Dario Iaculli on bass), began collaborating in Milan in 2009, following a path that in 2015 makes them land on TV protagonists of the program "Amici", thanks to which they also take home the critics' award. In May of the same year they released the album "Out" which reached first place in the ranking of best-selling albums in Italy, a position it maintained for twelve consecutive weeks (a record), taking home five platinum records. Driving the album's success is the single "Everytime", a song - certified platinum - among the most played on Italian radio and chosen as the soundtrack for Vodafone commercials. The Kolors play throughout Italy with tours that are always sold out, they earn the cover of the Italian edition of Rolling Stone and in February 2018 they participate in the Sanremo Festival with their first unreleased song in Italian, 'Frida (mai, mai, mai)'. In March 2019 the signing with the first major record company (Island Records/Universal Music Records) arrived and on 15 March 2019 the single "Pensare male" was released, paired with Elodie, a song which quickly became the most played Italian song on the radio in 2019, Platinum record with over fifty million views. 2019 ends with another unreleased song, this time paired with Guè Pequeno, entitled “Los Angeles”, also much appreciated by the radio. Eight months later, in May 2020 "Non è vero" was released, yet another success on the radio, followed by the previously unreleased "Mal di Gola" and "Cabriolet Panorama".
