Yesterday's IT downturn put the concert that Francesco Gabbani was supposed to hold in Arborea in the evening at serious risk .

In fact, the singer was unable to take the direct flight from Milan, which was cancelled, and found an alternative solution at the last minute. He arrived in Sardinia with a single-propeller plane that took off from the Collegno airfield, just outside Turin, which he quickly reached by car.

The Collegno-Olbia flight lasted two and a half hours , then the transfer to Arborea where the performance was held regularly, amid the enthusiasm of the fans.

The artist himself recounted the episode with a video published on Instagram: «After various vicissitudes and a real journey of hope - he wrote - yesterday we landed in Sardinia safe and sound and we had a beautiful concert ».

Fans left numerous comments of appreciation: "You're great - was the response of one of the internet users - because you could have stayed at home and instead for those who paid for the ticket you gave it your all, and you did it" . "Much esteem - added another - also for having climbed on that plane." "Since you have lived the experience of the journey of hope that we Sardinians more or less live when we travel - underlined a commentator - we give you honorary citizenship". This evening Gabbani performs in Iglesias, tomorrow in La Maddalena .
