To reach Sardinia in the summer there were few alternatives to the two state companies. Now hoteliers are afraid of a – tragic – return to the past.
«The Region wants to do even worse, giving the green light to a monopoly in the airport sector. The right to mobility of Sardinians cannot be put in the hands of private individuals, an immediate backtracking is necessary ", warns Giovanni Sanna, an entrepreneur at the helm of a group (Studiovacanze) which has 18 hotel facilities and 10 thousand beds, with its center of gravity in the area of Budoni and many satellites scattered throughout the rest of the island, from Alghero to Muravera.
