Since 2022, the "pink race" has become part of the World Tour again, involving the best athletes on the national and international cycling scene.
Starting from Tuscany, it crossed Emilia Romagna, Piedmont, Liguria up to Sardinia for stages 8 and 9, Nuoro – Sassari and Sassari – Olbia respectively.
Every year the event arouses greater interest in the public and in the media involved, also thanks to the precious work of Starlight PMG Sport by Roberto Ruini, who also covers the role of General Manager for this edition of the Giro.
From northern Italy up to the Isola dei 4 Mori, the Giro Donne offers an extraordinary sporting spectacle that crosses landscapes of incredible beauty, combining competition and promotion of the territory.
The contribution and support of the Regions, Municipalities and all the territorial bodies involved is fundamental.
The Giro Donne is a heritage of the Italian Cycling Federation and of all Italian cycling, as stated by the President of FCI Cordiano Dagnoni.
One of the most beautiful and important races on the world scene, nine days of pedaling, two hours of live coverage a day, during which the athletes aim to enter the roll of honor and write a piece of history of this sport.
After the rest on July 7, the race ends with the two stages in Sardinia.
