It's called Su Cunzertu Antigu, a female ensemble of Sardinian international music. Four friends who have been putting together their instruments for some time are returning from a 10-day trip to Séte, in Occitania, in which they represented Sardinia in the most important maritime event in the Mediterranean: Éscale a Séte, Festival of Maritime Traditions, a biennial that counts half a million visitors every edition.

«In recent days – they say we have done two to three concerts a day of Sardinian music, with typical traditional instruments». Percussion from Gavoi, drum and triangle, launeddas played by Federica Lecca from Cagliari, accordions played by Myriam Costeri from Gavoi and Fabiana Contini from Bosa, and unreleased pieces with the guitar and voice of Federica Olla (guitar). The Sardinian musicians sang trallallera in front of an international audience.

«Our stages – they say – were vintage sailing ships such as the Don Du Vent and the Pandora of Venice, cruise sailing ships such as the famous Santa Maria Manuela of Madeira and more exclusive spaces for guests such as the Partenaire».

«The most emotional moments? When the audience sang the trallallera chants with us and continued when we finished the show. An evocative moment in which the Corsican musical group, the very spirited Eppò, made us go on stage for a Sardinia-Corsica twinning as sister islands".
