A journey among the beauties of the archaeological sites of Marmilla, but not only, simply by taking a tour inside the Center for Communication and Promotion of Cultural Heritage, "Giovanni Lilliu", in Barumini. The opportunity is given by the path that the Foundation Barumini Sistema Cultura, with the Municipality of Barumini, have renewed to strengthen the collaboration with the other historical-cultural realities of Sardinia.
The initiative is part of a network project between important archaeological sites on the island, on which the Foundation has been working for some time and which, over the years, has made it possible to create important collaborations which have borne fruit, for example, in the activation of single tickets to visit the various sites, in setting up exhibitions and cultural events but also for mutual support and "to offer tourists an increasingly integrated offer through new institutional relationships capable of attracting more and more flows to our territories", for to use the words of the president of the Foundation, Emanuele Lilliu.
And so, starting from February, a corner has been set up inside the G.Lilliu Center which, in rotation, will host the many Municipalities and their archaeological-cultural sites, which have agreements with Barumini. Another opportunity for visitors to see not only the beauties offered by Su Nuraxi, Casa Zapata and the installations at the Lilliu Center, but also to learn more about the other beauties of Marmilla and beyond, and plan a visit to other territories interested.
The first guest (from 22 February to 22 May 2023) is Serri with its Nuragic Sanctuary of Santa Vittoria. In the corner set up by the Foundation, in collaboration with the Acropoli Nuragica Cooperative, an exhibition itinerary of the archaeological area immortalized by the shots taken in the suggestive phases of the day, from sunrise to sunset, is planned for these three months, but also a documentary on Santa Vittoria . In the showcase, then, some reproductions of finds found in the archaeological area and the possibility of having all the useful information and insights, in Italian, English and Sardinian, in order to better organize a visit to the site.
