The day of meetings and exchanges between companies and communities scheduled today in Cagliari, at Villa Satta (viale Trento 39), starting at 5 pm, in the IED great hall, is entitled “Vision”. The aim: to share inspirations and projects on innovation, design and the future of professions. An event that, as highlighted in a press release, «is configured as a space for discussion for entrepreneurs, young designers, professionals interested in sharing projects, proposals for the territory, visions». «The aim of the European Institute of Design is always to observe what is happening in the territory in which it operates, to act as an aggregator of new trends and aspirations that emerge from the entrepreneurial and social fabric, to always be in contact with the world of work in which the young designers will work».
«This year», explains the director of IED Cagliari Antonio Lupinu, «we have decided to open the doors of our school even more to local companies, to create opportunities for synergy and growth, making our know-how and the creativity of our students available».
Vision will also have a moment dedicated to the interventions of some protagonists of the local and national context, with the aim of telling their vision. The director of the Unione Sarda group's newspapers Emanuele Dessì will open the proceedings, for a wide-ranging overview of the future of professions related to publishing, but also of the critical issues and prospects of doing business in Sardinia.
This will be followed by speeches by Marco Duò , communication manager and copywriter, on the theme “There is always a story to tell”; Alice Soru , CEO and founder of Open Campus, who will bring a contribution on the “Value of the relationship in the era of remote working”; Stefano Carta Vasconcellos , designer and vice academic director of IED, for a reflection on “School and businesses: continuous generation of opportunities and innovation”.
