A tragedy that struck all of Italy and that at 75 years has not yet been explained “Beyond any reasonable doubt” as in the title of the evening that will animate the Social Center of Piazza del Popolo on Thursday at 7 pm. The literary reading by the writer, historian and literary critic Raffaele Sari Bozzolo is dedicated to the Superga air disaster of May 4, 1949 in which the entire Torino team, who were dominating Italian football, perished.
"If we wanted to find the truth about the Superga tragedy of May 4, 1949, we shouldn't imagine it lost among the debris scattered in front of the basilica's wall, but buried under testimonies, news, technical opinions and contradictory hypotheses," says Raffaele Sari. "We certainly couldn't find it in the records and documents of the three investigations that were quickly concluded and of which today - in the state, judicial and military archives - not even a single document mysteriously remains. The only certainty is that the official version doesn't hold up beyond any reasonable doubt."
The event is on the program of the XV Florinas in giallo , the literary festival of the Municipality of Florinas organized by the Itinerandia Association, with the artistic direction of the Cyrano (Alghero) and Azuni (Sassari) bookshops.
