Yesterday evening, with the stock exchanges closed, the economic-financial police unit of the Guardia di Finanza carried out a search in the Juventus offices in Turin and Milan as part of an investigation by the Prosecutor's Office of the Piedmontese capital concerning the buying and selling of footballers and the balance sheet formation.

Six suspects: the president Andrea Agnelli, the vice president Pavel Nedved, the former head of the sports area Fabio Paratici, now at Tottenham, the current Chief Corporate & Financial Officer Stefano Cerrato, the former Chief Corporate & Financial Officer, Stefano Bertola, and former financial executive Marco Re.

Juve is also under investigation as a legal person.

False corporate communications and issuing of invoices for non-existent transactions are the hypotheses of crime.

In the crosshairs of the operation renamed "Prisma" there are the transfers of some players and the services rendered by intermediaries during the transactions.
