A tale in paintings and images. The danced story of the famous Mexican painter and her complex love story with the painter Diego Rivera. After the sold out shows in Cagliari (repeat tonight at the Teatro Massimo at 7 pm) on Monday the Teatro Comunale in Sassari will host “Frida” , a creation by the Hungarian choreographer Eva Duda.

The protagonists on stage are Eleonora Accalai and Zoltán Csere alongside the dancers of the Eva Duda Dance Company , for a refined and engaging story with music by Izsák Farkas and Tibor Molnár, costumes by Kató Huszár and Julcsi Kiss, lighting design by József Pető and video mapping by Gábor Karcis and Mátyás Fekete.

“Frida” reflects the visionary spirit of Eva Duda, dancer, choreographer and director, founder and artistic director of the Eva Duda Dance Company, who blends the expressive power of contemporary dance with music and new stage languages to tell the inner life, thoughts and emotions of the great Mexican painter, her passionate temperament, her courage, her political commitment and her revolutionary spirit.

The show is included in the Grande Danza program proposed by CeDac Sardegna .
