The Ethnicity and Theatricality Festival kicks off: ten shows featuring Sardinian and national companies.

The Ethnicity and Theatrical Festival, dedicated to Giampiero Cubeddu, director and writer, who directed the Compagnia Teatro Sassari for 30 years, has reached its 35th anniversary. Ten shows will be performed at the Cine Teatro Astra in Sassari, each at 8:30 pm.

Mario Lubino, artistic director of the Compagnia Teatro Sassari, explains: "The Festival, through music and theater, addresses themes of tradition and classics, with a social perspective." It begins Saturday with a show by Sidra , the stage name of Piera Demurtas , entitled "DREAMS different." The singer-songwriter will be accompanied by Antonio Sircana on piano, Sebastiano Deriu on acoustic guitar, Yanara Mariluz Reyes McDonald on double bass, Matteo Anelli on drums, and Roberto Desiato on flute. The exhibition "Conkèluna" completes this dialogue between visual art and sound, amplifying the viewer's emotions.

The other shows - “Lu viziù di Masthr'Antoni” (October 24th and 25th); “Mariannedda de sos Bator Moros” (November 1st); "Family, from the Story of the Baron" (November 8th); "Hamlet" (November 22nd); "Dante, Journey to Hell" (November 28th and 29th); "The Surprise" (December 5th and 6th); "The Voices Inside" (December 11th). In the new year, "Il filo di Teseo" (January 17th) and "Ribelle - Story of a Changed Night" (March 7th) will be performed.
