A tribute to the women of Sardinia and the city. Of the past and the present. The tribute was organized by the Equal Opportunities Commission of the Municipality of Sassari chaired by the lawyer. Maria Gabriela Bertoncelli.
In a packed room of the Sardinia Foundation, the event opened with the screening of a video entitled "Sardinia's Tribute to Its Women", created by the Inner Wheel District 208 and the Presidents of the Sardinian Inner Wheel Clubs in the year social 2020 – 2021.
The Sassari municipal commission then awarded three awards: to Paola Dessì, the first Sardinian woman to hold the position of prefect; to Paola Galleri, an artist who has also obtained excellent feedback at an international level; to Saturnina Tanda, owner of the pharmacy in the city district of Santa Maria di Pisa for 45 years.
