A story of success and music is told in the book S'istoria infinida, the title of the book about Tazenda and their long career. On stage, it becomes a shared narrative between the historic Sardinian band and Felice Liperi, where music and words intertwine, thanks to the direct collaboration between the author and the musicians. The event is scheduled for tomorrow, December 19th, at 7:00 PM in the Filippo Canu Hall, where Felice Liperi actively participates in the show, conversing with Gino Marielli and Gigi Camedda, through readings, memories, and narrative fragments that give life and voice to the story contained in the book.
Tazenda today welcomes Serena Cartamantiglia, the group's new official vocalist: a sensitive, intense performer, capable of combining subtlety and power, propelling the project toward new directions within the tradition. Her arrival marks a new phase in the group's artistic journey, in continuity with their history and open to the future. Accompanying them on guitar will be Massimo Cossu, now known to many as the "fourth Tazenda" as he has been with them since 1990, a virtuoso guitarist and arranger of all the musical elements of this show.
Felice Liperi, a music critic, was a longtime host and curator of programs for Radio 3 (including Fahrenheit, Alza il volume, Sei gradi). He taught at the DAMS (Department of Music and Performing Arts) at the Universities of Genoa and Udine, where he taught courses in the History of Italian Song and Popular Music. He has been a longtime contributor to the daily newspaper La Repubblica and is the author of numerous books and essays.
