Ukraine celebrated the day of Italian culture in Bucha. In the park of the martyr city, liberated after more than a month of Russian occupation, many events dedicated to Italy: workshops on the works of Gianni Rodari, the book ''Pimpa'' translated into Ukrainian, a masterclass dedicated to southern dances.

Manu Invisible created a 12 by 6 meter mural on a building in front of the town hall. Bucha, also thanks to the Italian Cooperation, was able to erase the horror of the rubble, becoming a symbol of resistance after the atrocities of the invasion.

''Try-Fly'' is a piece of the future open-air museum created by artists from all over the world. Ambassador Francesco Zazo recalled the days of occupation: «Here war crimes were perpetrated and the most basic human rights were violated. Today I am happy with this desire to be reborn."

The event was organized by the Italian Embassy, the Italian Cultural Institute, the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation - Aics Kiev, the Cesvi foundation and the Ukrainian NGO Ya Buchanets, the municipality of Bucha.
