Enrolling in two university courses at the same time is now a reality. In fact, students will have the opportunity to have a double degree thanks to the publication of decree No. 930 of 29 July 2022 by the Minister of University and Research, Maria Cristina Messa. The provision governs the methods for facilitating the simultaneous enrollment of students in two different bachelor's, master's or master's degree courses, with the exception of medical specialization courses, even in several universities, schools or higher institutes with special regulations starting from from the next academic year 2022-2023.

"With the introduction of the double degree, made possible thanks to this first implementing decree, we have designed a more flexible training system, starting from the next academic year", explained Minister Messa, adding: "We have overcome rigidity and regulatory constraints in favor of of a transversal formation that responds to the needs of today's young people ".

To establish the criteria that must be followed for simultaneous enrollment in two university courses with scheduled access at national level, such as medicine and psychology to give an example, and to facilitate double enrollment in courses of higher artistic, musical and dance training will arrive two other decrees.
