It's too early to know who the seven winners of 2025 will be. It's likely, in fact, that the faces of the protagonists of the Navicella Sardegna Award will be revealed again this year just before the ceremony, scheduled for Saturday evening at the Ceroli Theater in Porto Rotondo .

Meanwhile, preparations are well underway, with the Gallura village gearing up to host the 24th edition of one of Sardinia's main late-summer cultural events. Egidiangela Sechi will host the evening , alongside the Videolina journalist, actor Marco Spiga, as well as the Sardinian Chamber Orchestra, conducted by maestro Simone Pittau, which will provide the musical highlights of the awards ceremony.

The traditional silver boats, designed and crafted by Cagliari-based goldsmith Bruno Busonera and inspired by the famous Nuragic bronze statuette, will again this year be awarded to seven Sardinian personalities, either by birth or by origin, selected by a jury composed of figures from the worlds of culture, communications, journalism, institutions, and science.

But that's not all: in addition to the Navicella Prize, since 2015 a special prize has been awarded, named after Olimpia Matacena, the event's longtime organizer. This prize is intended for personalities from the world of communications, and last year it went to TG5 journalist Roberta Floris.
