August is the month that, in Sardinia, marks the transition from LPG to methane in various Municipalities.

Medea, an Italgas group company active in distribution on the island, will kick off activities in the city networks of Olbia, Valledoria, Santadi, Arbus, Sedilo, Mandas, Siurgus Donigala, Terralba, Buddusò, Budoni, Simala and Genoni, for a total of over 11,000 customers currently connected to the city networks, according to a schedule agreed with the respective municipal administrations.

Once the conversion is completed, the supply of LPG will be interrupted and the new natural gas service will only be usable by those who have signed a new supply contract in good time and adjusted their internal system by relying on a trusted professional. The old meter will also be replaced with a new generation smart meter, equipped with remote reading and remote management functions.
