The Antonio Vivaldi Orchestra of Venice, the talented pianist Theodosia Ntokou , Maestro Mischa Maisky and Gabriele Ragghianti 's double bass : they will be the great protagonists of the 4th edition of the Classical Music Festival Costa Smeralda, scheduled in four appointments, on the 4th, 6, 8 and 10 September, at the Porto Cervo Conference Center.

The classical music festival curated by the Costa Smeralda Consortium returns with new prestigious artists from the national and international scene, who will perform this year, in four evenings that will all start at 9.30 pm, with free admission, under the artistic direction of Maestro Gugliemo Destasio .

The opening of the festival, which closes the 2023 summer events calendar of the Costa Smeralda Consortium, is set for Monday, when the Antonio Vivaldi Orchestra of Venice will perform, with its exceptional soloists, led by Konzertmeister Guglielmo De Stasio: the ensemble will perform music by Vivaldi, Bach and Corelli.

The second appointment on the calendar, scheduled for Wednesday 6 September, will be dedicated to young talents on the rise and will see the performance of the young pianist, already acclaimed by the public and international critics, Theodosia Ntokou, who will perform the masterpieces of Beethoven and Mozart: the Third Concerto Beethovenian for piano and orchestra, accompanied by the Antonio Vivaldi Orchestra of Venice and Mozart's Little Night Serenade.

The third evening, Friday 8 September, will instead be dedicated to great interpreters of the history of music and will see Maestro Mischa Maisky, legend of the cello, as a guest: the program includes the Brandenburg Concerto by JS Bach for strings, with the participation of Maestro Maisky, the Nocturne of Pëtr Il'ič Čajkovskij and, to follow, the Concerto in C major for cello and orchestra by Franz Joseph Haydn.

At the end of the review, the Italian excellences in the world on Sunday 10 September: the category will be represented by the double bass player Gabriele Ragghianti, one of the most acclaimed internationally, Principal Double Bass soloist of the "Solisti Veneti", professor at the Lucca Conservatory and at the Royal College of London and soloist in the most important concert halls in the world. The Tuscan musician will propose some of the greatest masterpieces of masterpieces by Grieg and Bottesini accompanied by the Antonio Vivaldi Orchestra of Venice.
