Like all Sardinian manual activities, including weaving it is very versatile; this allows numerous processes to be carried out through ancient techniques of the use of canvas, using traditional materials such as wool and cotton yarns, to create textile products such as carpets, blankets, tablecloths, curtains and more.

Marco Rau, president of Confartigianato Sassari explains : « The artisan workshops of Sardinian art represent the beating heart of the tradition and cultural identity of the island . Through centuries of mastery passed down from generation to generation, Sardinian artisans have created extraordinary works that reflect the richness of the history and nature of the island."
