The judge of the civil court of Cagliari rejected the appeal against the former president of the Sardinia Region, Christian Solinas: the regularity of his position as national secretary of the Psd'Az was contested.
Ten days before the regional elections in February, Stefano Esu, a member and member of the party's National Council and former consultant of the Department of Local authorities and urban planning of the Solinas council.
According to Esu, the secretary Solinas would have held the role without having the right, for not having convened the congress on time and for delays in membership. And for this reason he had to be declared lapsed.
The news of the rejection comes from the president of the Sardinians Antonio Moro: «The appeal», comments Moro in a note, «has always been considered, by the leadership of the Sardinian Action Party, as one of the many reckless attempts, aimed at interfering in the correct political and democratic dynamics such as the formation of the Psd'Az lists and the gathering of consensus in the electoral campaign".
According to Moro, "all these initiatives have caused serious damage to the party, generating a constant situation of uncertainty even over the very existence of its statutory bodies."
Today the Court «put an end, with a clear and unequivocal ruling, to these illegitimate disturbances and also condemned Mr. Stefano Esu to reimburse the litigation costs (5,432 euros) in addition to general and ancillary expenses», concludes the Sardinian president.
