The 8th "Vermentino" national wine and literary prize at the Book Fair

For the second consecutive year the Turin International Book Fair hosted the literary prize combined with one of the island's food and wine excellences . It is the 8th edition for the "Vermentino" national wine and literary award , conceived by the Sassari Chamber of Commerce and created in partnership with the Municipalities of Olbia and Castelnuovo Magra and with the collaboration of the Vermentino Protection Consortia.

«This is an important moment in the history of this award in which we have always believed – says the vice president of the chamber of Commerce, Maria Amelia Lai , present together with the general secretary Pietro Esposito – and for the next edition we have some surprises in store which we will reveal in brief . The "Vermentino" has effectively become a national event. Capable of telling stories, of disseminating culture without forgetting the importance of our characteristic, quality productions, such as Vermentino. A prize yes, but also a real territorial marketing action."

At the event, organized in the Bookstock spaces, in collaboration with the Turin Chamber of Commerce, a large number of authors took part together with the delegation of the Sassari chamber of commerce, including the winner of the last edition, Luca Ammirati , and special mentions Lucia Fanelli and Michele Paolino . Together with them the partners of the event, experts in the sector, all once again fascinated by an Award which also in this edition promises to be full of participants and whose registrations will expire on June 28th.
