They successfully communicated the meaning of disability with sensitivity, finesse, aesthetic taste, and technical skill. For this reason, the judging panel for the "Farace Prize" at the University of Sassari awarded them three prizes of €1,000 each: one shared between Maria Gabriella Desole and Giorgia Pippia, one to Sofia Urgeghe, and one to Gaia Pintus, all students at the Figari Art High School in Sassari. A special mention went to Sara Tanca.

The four graphic works stood out among all those who participated in the competition named in memory of Francesco Farace, a plastic surgeon and researcher at the University of Sassari, who throughout his career distinguished himself for his expertise, dedication, and humanity.

The Award, now in its 22nd edition, was organized by the Office of Orientation and Student Services of the University of Sassari for the third, fourth, and fifth grades of secondary schools in the provinces of Sassari, Olbia-Tempio, Nuoro, and Oristano.

The awards ceremony was attended by Rector Gavino Mariotti, the chair of the judging committee Franca Mele, the point of reference and driving force behind the Farace Prize, Giovanni Pruneddu, the Rector's delegate for Disabilities and Specific Learning Disorders, Giuseppina Tanda of the Regional School Office, and Corrado Rubino, Francesco Farace's teacher.
