Detective novelist Piergiorgio Pulixi, former Italian modern pentathlon champion Fabio Poddighe, pediatric cardiac surgeon Stefano Congiu, archaeologist Giuseppa Tanda, responsible for the Domus de Janas's inscription as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, television host and popularizer Roberto Giacobbo, and Dolce & Gabbana manager and Italian advertising, marketing, and image guru Fedele Usai.
Plus the special "Olimpia Matacena" award, which goes to Riccardo Milani, director of the documentary "Rombo di Tuono," about the life of Gigi Riva, and "La vita va così," inspired by the story of shepherd Ovidio Marras against property speculation. The 24th edition of the Premio Navicella Sardegna has added new winners, whose names will enrich the roll of honor of the event, which celebrates personalities who bring prestige to Sardinia at the national and international level.
The award ceremony for the silver ships, designed and created by Cagliari goldsmith Bruno Busonera and inspired by the famous Nuragic bronze statuette, took place this evening at the Mario Ceroli Theatre in Porto Rotondo. Hosted by Egidiangela Sechi, the ceremony was assisted by actor Marco Spiga and featured musical accompaniment by the Sardinian Chamber Orchestra conducted by Simone Pittau. The ceremony will be broadcast in full on Saturday, September 13th, on Videolina in prime time at 9:00 PM.
