Always in step with the times in following the fluid flow of art, the MaC Lula simultaneously presents two artistic paths dedicated to Comics. "The texts of Pasquale Ruju in the epic of Tex" and "Sardinia meets a planet" with Massimo Dall'Oglio are the titles of the binary exhibition that will be inaugurated on Friday 18 October at 5 pm and will remain open until 19 January 2025 .

Two worlds apparently different from each other but united by similar processes in creation, even if structured, in the story, in different ways by the wise art of the authors.

With Pasquale Ruiu, born in Nuoro and a very talented screenwriter for Sergio Bonelli Editore, author of numerous "Gialli" and several times finalist for the Scerbanenco Prize, we will travel through the world of Tex Willer through the screenplays and publications with the exhibition of historical albums dating back to the 50s and 60s, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the Western epic. With Massimo Dall'Oglio, Japanese comics will be exhibited to the public, with which to guide art explorers, on a journey of knowledge of what is considered a "cultural phenomenon of a society like the Japanese one in continuous evolution".

Also born in Sardinia, he became one of the great comic book artists at a very young age, dedicating himself full time to the study of Japanese comics, considered a cultural phenomenon, an important part of a society like that of the rising sun in continuous evolution.

For Domenico Fumagalli, President of MaC Lula, «the contemporaneity of comics represents the new course of art, whose particularity of the expressive form was also intuited by Antonio Gramsci».
