Territorial planning: Carbonia also among the best municipalities in the South

Element emerged during the seminar in Puglia organized by ANCI-Presidency of the Council of Ministers Department for cohesion policies and for the south-Department of Public Function, entitled "109 Cities, one country: the capital municipalities of Italy".
In the area of administrative practices, Carbonia is included in the round table on the identikit of the capital municipalities capable of redesigning the territorial planning of the coming years. A conference focused on the resources allocated to the development of cities as part of the MediAree project with the aim of strengthening the capabilities of medium-sized cities, such as Carbonia, in strategic planning of large areas.
«Training meeting - underlined the mayor Pietro Morittu - in which administrators and officials of the capital municipalities discuss topics aimed at attracting staff and strengthening the workforce by focusing on the training of human capital and professional growth». It was a discussion between mayors, government and experts on the role of capitals in the Southern Regions: «Places - concludes the mayor - where services, activities and infrastructures are concentrated which benefit large territorial communities».
