Alessandro Ingarao wins the singles and doubles championship in the Italian Second Category Men's Tennis Championships, which concluded today on the courts of Tc Cagliari. In the singles final, the Sicilian tennis player beat Stefano Baldoni 6-0, 6-3, a left-handed Umbrian player who, a few years ago, wore the jersey of the organizing club in the national team championship.
The two tennis players had already faced each other on Friday in the doubles final and Ingarao had prevailed once again, winning 6-3, 6-1 in a pair with the Piedmontese Gregorio Biondolillo, over the pair of Ct Giotto Arezzo Baldoni and Filippo Alberti.
Ingarao, registered with Match-Ball Siracusa, has thus achieved a feat: in the last three years he has won all six championships up for grabs on the fields of the Monte Urpinu club.
