Tempio, the Organica Museum celebrates National Small Museums Day with two new exhibitions.

Organica celebrates the 9th National Day of Small Museums with two new exhibitions: "Traces of Earth and Wind" by Caterina Lai and "Atlas. Video Portraits of Gallura" by Gaetano Crivaro and Margherita Pisano. The exhibitions will open on Sunday at 11:00 a.m. at the Tempio Pausania Museum of Environmental Art and will accompany Organica's program until October 21st.

For the contemporary art section, the focus is on "Traces of Earth and Wind" by artist Caterina Lai, curated by art historian and critic Maria Dolores Picciau, who explains: "The protagonists of the installation are the Licuccos, biconical bodies that enshrine in their form the reassuring echo of the silver buttons of traditional costumes, the ancient sweetness of bread and holiday sweets: in a setting of rare emotional power, the Licuccos multiply until they become living matter."

The environmental section hosts the exhibition "Atlas. Video Portraits of Gallura" by documentary filmmakers Gaetano Crivaro and Margherita Pisano, curated by Lidia Decandia. The works on display are part of "Atlas of Innovation: Searching for Embryos of Change in the Alta Gallura Region," a comprehensive study curated by urban planners Lidia Decandia and Leonardo Lutzoni for the University of Sassari, aimed at identifying and describing the signs of innovation and transformations occurring in the Gallura region.

The "Video Portraits" exhibited at the Organica Museum are part of this research project and, at the same time, an experimental project on cinematic language. The exhibition will conclude on Saturday, October 17th, starting at 10:00 a.m. with a meeting titled "New Forms of Living - Ongoing Transformations and Future Possibilities for Alta Gallura." This will be a space for open discussion with the project leaders, interviewees, local mayors, and the public. Throughout the exhibition, a space will be dedicated to the Atlas and public participation: anyone can leave their impressions, reflections, ideas, and suggestions, thus enriching the narrative and discussion that will converge in the final meeting.
