A pictorial exhibition in a setting that is nothing short of suggestive: the summit of Mount Limbara, Vallicciola locality , near Tempio. Organized by the owners of the local hotel, it was set for Thursday 11 August at 6 pm . The works on display will be by the talented Sardinian painter and artist Giovanni Sanna .

The exhibition is entitled “The Silence among Things” and will be set up and curated by Mario Lai. Giovanni Sanna, teacher of painting at the "Mario Sironi" Academy of Fine Arts in Sassari, is a citizen of Porto Torres. His works are exhibited in numerous public and private collections in Sardinia and Italy. From November 2021 his latest public work, entitled "Acrites Viridis", created in synergy with the Department of Visual Arts and the School of Sculpture of the "Sironi" Academy, is exhibited in the conference room of the Ministry of the University in Rome.
The title of the exhibition ("The Silence among Things") indicates to the visitor a very dear and deeply investigated theme by Giovanni Sanna: immortalizing "Useless Things" in painting .

The useless things, explains Alessandro Ponzeletti, art historian, are seen by Sanna "with other eyes: the eyes of memory, which charge the everyday with sentiment and value, which embellish what in everyday life is not considered in the least. ". Giovanni Sanna with his personal art specifies the profound difference between" seeing "and" observing "on canvases.
In fact, in every single one of his works we can appreciate a suspended atmosphere , where the single object or the set of several objects conquer their own dignity and solemnity, in a vision that is cloaked in balance and harmony. Which will acquire greater vigor in the top of Gallura.
