A kaleidoscope of emotions will come to life on Wednesday 10 July 2024, at 5pm, at Casa Saddi in via Ettore Fieramosca, 17 in Pirri, thanks to the Teatro del Corvo company and the show "Macedonia". Part of the children's theater festival organized by Il Crogiuolo - a theater intervention centre, "Macedonia" explores fundamental human feelings in a fun and accessible way for everyone.
The representation, designed for girls and boys but also engaging for adults, is made up of a series of short stories which, like pieces of a tangram, can be rearranged to create new figures and narratives. This makes "Macedonia" a dynamic show, constantly evolving, capable of adapting to the emotions of the moment and stimulating improvised dialogues between the puppeteers and the audience. In fact, the stories proposed vary cyclically, and therefore after years the show has been almost completely renewed, enriched with new, brighter and more entertaining ideas, inserted after having been tested in open situations or even on the street.
The journey between friendship, love, anger, cunning and fear is enriched by hilarious scenes such as the dance between Pulcinella and Teresina, and duets that promise endless laughter. Among the most loved moments, "La tigre" and "Gelindo" offer unforgettable adventures and characters, which fascinate and entertain spectators of all ages.
The overall register of the show is based on comedy and the search for a spontaneous but non-trivial laugh, which finds its culmination in the story "Prot", a short and transgressive fable taken from a North American folk tale.
The search for an original soundtrack for each character or effect is a cornerstone of the overall structure of "Macedonia", which lives on rhythm and musicality both inside and outside the word. The inside and outside of the shack are also connected to each other by sound.
