After the stops on the Peninsula and in northern Sardinia, the “Bonas Noas” tour of Tazenda also arrives in Cagliari with an unmissable concert scheduled for tomorrow, Monday 14 April, at 9 pm at the Teatro Massimo.
A long absence from the Sardinian capital that created much anticipation among the many fans of the historic band founded by Andrea Parodi, Gigi Camedda and Gino Marielli in the 80s and which achieved national television success in 1990 thanks to a broadcast by Pippo Baudo on Rai 1 who appreciated its magnetic sound, the unique voice of the unforgettable Andrea Parodi and the exceptional vital charge of its music and lyrics.
Since then, the career of this charismatic and distinctive ensemble has never stopped, reaching exceptional goals and enriching itself with prestigious collaborations with absolute stars of Italian and international music.
On stage, next to the founders Gigi Camedda (vocals and keyboards) and Gino Marielli (guitars and vocals), there will be the musicians who have long accompanied Tazenda in their live performances: Massimo Cossu on guitars, Massimo Canu on bass and Luca Folino on drums with the addition of the female voice of Serena Carta Mantilla.
The concert lineup will offer a journey through the artistic life of Tazenda, also touching on the central themes of the tour.
“Bonas Noas”, which gives its title to the tour, is a song that celebrates art and poetry as tools to respond to human anxieties.
There will be space for “Carrasecare”, which takes us back to the group’s exciting beginnings in 1988, and for one of the most beloved songs in limba ever, competing at the 1992 Sanremo Festival, “Pitzinnos in sa gherra”, a moving masterpiece that still today recalls the tragedies taking place between Ukraine and Palestine.
“Spunta la luna dal monte” will not be missing, the iconic song sung at Sanremo in 1991 and welcomed with extraordinary warmth by the public: the audience at the Ariston paid tribute to Tazenda with Pierangelo Bertoli with a very long standing ovation and the song almost reached the podium, finishing fifth.
The same melody, performed by a magical Mahmood, was the soundtrack to a precious, intense and ironic monologue by Geppi Cucciari, dedicated to Sardinia and seen by millions of viewers, broadcast on Rai 3 during the last episode of Splendida Cornice, the successful program hosted by the very talented actress and presenter from the island.
And Tazenda also relaunched it on their social media, getting a lot of likes.
On Monday, they will be the ones to retrace, for the Cagliari audience, their very long musical season: at the threshold of 40 years, the activity of Tazenda is still flourishing and full of new exciting events curated in every detail by Andrea's son, Luca Parodi, who, behind the scenes, carries on the music that made that special father famous.
