Taylor Swift targeted by environmentalists: private jet defaced
Two women sprayed paint on some planes at Stansted, including that of the pop star: arrestedNew blitz by Just Stop Oil eco-activists after yesterday's raid at Stonehenge: two women managed to enter the VIP area of London Stansted airport this morning and with fire extinguishers they spread orange paint on some of the private jets parked among which according to what the environmentalist group claims, it would also include that of the singer and global star Taylor Swift, who recently arrived in the United Kingdom to perform tomorrow evening at Wembley Stadium.
The two activists, Jennifer Kowalski, 28, and Cole Macdonald, 22, were arrested on charges of vandalism and "interference with the functioning of national infrastructure".
In a video released by the radical ecological group, one of the women can be seen cutting the perimeter fence of the airport with a small hose before targeting the planes.
Just Stop Oil, which has been carrying out increasingly dramatic actions in recent weeks ahead of Britain's July 4 general election - including yesterday in which a 21-year-old student and a 73-year-old man daubed the monoliths with orange powder paint of the famous site of Stonehenge, in the south of England, only to be promptly arrested - even today he relaunched his request to the future government of the Kingdom: to put an end to the exploitation of fossil fuels by 2030.
