Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins had taken "ten different drugs" before his death. This is what the Colombian Public Prosecutor's Office reveals in a statement drawn up together with the Colombian Institute of Forensic Medicine.

Among the substances found in the musician's body, marijuana, tricyclic antidepressants, opiates and benzodiazepines. However, the press release does not state that the death was caused by these substances.

The National Institute of Forensic Medicine "continues medical studies to obtain full clarification on the causes of Taylor Hawkins' death".

The drummer was 50 years old, he died in a hotel room in Bogota.

"His musical spirit and contagious laugh will live with us all forever," reads the official Foo Fighters Twitter account. "Our hearts are with his wife, his children and his family."

The band was on tour in South America and was supposed to play at a festival in Bogota. What will be remembered as Hawkins' last concert was held last Sunday in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
