TasteAtlas: Sardinian pecorino in the top 10 of the hundred best cheeses in the world

Italy triumphs in the 2023 ranking of the hundred best cheeses in the world drawn up by TasteAtlas, the international gastronomic portal. The top 10 are almost all for our country, with a placement also for Sardinia.
Readers were able to make their assessments by expressing preferences that allowed Sardinian pecorino to position itself in the top ten in ninth place.
The first is Parmigiano Reggiano, which obtained 4.8 points out of 5. Followed by spicy gorgonzola (4.8), burrata (4.7), Grana Padano (4.7), stracchino di crescenza (4.7), buffalo mozzarella from Campania (4.7), Queijo Serra da Estrela (4.7), Sardinian pecorino (4.7), Tuscan pecorino (4.7) and bunds (4 ,7).
