Sardinia continues to question its future and its relationship with its young people around the world.

This is the context for the third edition of Talent in Sardinia, the ideas competition promoted by the Regional Committee for Emigration and Immigration (ACLI), with the support of Sardinian advocacy associations and clubs, and supported by the Regional Department of Labor, Professional Training, Cooperation and Social Security, in collaboration with the Fondazione di Sardegna.

The initiative is part of the Year of Sardinian Emigration in Argentina and aims to strengthen cultural and project-based dialogue between the island and Sardinian communities abroad. The ambitious goal is to attract up to five young emigrants, first or second generation, between the ages of 18 and 35, offering them the opportunity to develop innovative ideas and projects related to Sardinia.

The sectors involved range from cultural and tourism promotion to food and wine, from social issues to ICT and entrepreneurship, in a vision that aims to combine identity, innovation, and development.

Selected participants will be asked not only to submit project proposals but also to contribute to building international networks and partnerships capable of modernizing the regional socioeconomic system.

The winners will receive a 2-4 week internship in Sardinia, during which they will be able to finalize their projects thanks to concrete technical support: seminars, thematic workshops, and opportunities to interact with companies, public bodies, universities, and research centers.

A program designed to facilitate long-lasting collaborations and transform ideas into real opportunities.

The project is based on a profound reflection on the migration phenomenon that continues to affect the island, especially among highly qualified young people.

Talent in Sardinia doesn't just imagine a permanent return, but also proposes an innovative "temporary return" formula, capable of generating value for the region and opening new internationalization channels for local communities and businesses.

After two successful editions, the competition has proven to be an effective tool for transforming emigration from a loss to a cultural and strategic resource, strengthening Sardinian emigrants' sense of belonging and promoting the island's heritage and identity worldwide.
