Forza Italia's first regional congress, which is expected to confirm Pietro Pittalis as its regional secretary , is underway at the Cagliari Fair .
For the occasion, and in his capacity as party president, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani is present. "Forza Italia is working to see this island grow, to make it more competitive in terms of tourism, exports, and employment ," he said. "Of course, Sardinia must be supported by Rome; there's the issue of its insularity, of the excessive costs of travel . We are working in this direction to bring Sardinians ever closer to the mainland. This is a priority, and I'm certain that with the ZES we can achieve something concrete."
