Sweden overwhelmingly thrashed Tunisia 5-1, but the scorer of two of the goals, Yasin Ayari, held off celebrating out of respect for his father. It happened in the 7th minute, when Ayari broke the deadlock with a powerful shot from outside the box, but he held back his celebration because his father was born in the African country. The Brighton midfielder then scored the final goal in the 5-1 victory for a Sweden side that won convincingly and finished top of Group F.

The Ivory Coast-Ecuador match was decided in the 90th minute, with the Africans winning 1-0 thanks to a Diallo strike. The Netherlands and Japan drew 2-2.

Spain takes the field at 6:00 PM Italian time, playing Cape Verde. Belgium faces Egypt next.
