Workshops, panels and meetings with the big national and international names in design and architecture. The target? Think about the production of things destined to last over time. From 23 to 25 November , the experiential exhibition will arrive at the former Tobacco Factory to reiterate that disposable products are "not a thing". Success for the events dedicated to schools with almost 300 registered.

An invitation to let go, to consider the amoral production of things created without thinking about sustainability no longer viable. This is the underlying theme of the three days of meetings, workshops and debates that will enliven the event, organized by Sardegna Ricerche .

A journey of awareness between design, craftsmanship and technology enriched by meetings with some of the biggest names in the sector: among the guests of the event there will be Paolo Ulian, award-winning designer who created objects that have become iconic , Maddalena Achenza of the University of Cagliari , expert in raw earth so much so as to be a member of the international team involved in the restoration of Nebuchadnezzar's palace in Babylon, Silvia Gambi journalist , one of the leading experts in sustainable fashion, and many others including a Chilean delegation who will participate in the round table organized by the Department of Architecture and Design by the University of Sassari on traditional objects and valuables.

The event aims to overturn the idea of production of objects, placing the need for ethics in the creation processes at the center. For this reason, one of the objectives of the event is to bring visitors inside the manufacturing processes, offering concrete and daily experiences of sustainability that go beyond the emptiness of slogans, to move away from green marketing. The exhibition dedicated to ceramics, weavings, fabrics and jewels is therefore central and delves into the merits of shapes and small architectures to read the objects with the codes of awareness and value.

«Sardegna Ricerche aims to intercept and direct change to contribute to the construction of a conscious and sustainable future. With this event we want to offer concrete experiences of sustainability, which allow us to experience first-hand the value of objects destined to last over time, but always within everyone's reach", highlighted Maria Assunta Serra, general director of Sardegna Ricerche.
