Banco di Sardegna and Confartigianato Imprese Sardegna, with their own system of guarantees on artisan credit, have signed an agreement to promote the development of artisan and small-scale entrepreneurship in the regional territory. The agreement was signed in Sassari by Giuseppe Cuccurese, general director of the Bank, Maria Amelia Lai, president of Confartigianato Imprese Sardegna and Marco Rau, regional delegate of Confartigianato for credit, and also provides for the making available of a ceiling of up to 20 million euros for loan applications submitted by associated companies. In particular, the commercial offer will make it possible to obtain competitive conditions on the main financing instruments intended for the realization of investments, with specific attention to interventions aimed at promoting the ecological transition and combating "climate change", in addition to interventions to support the needs of liquidity, transactional products and financing under subsidized instruments such as "Entrepreneurial Microcredit" and "Resto al Sud". The creation of a "branded" prepaid card for the association has also been planned, which businesses will be able to request free of charge.

«The agreement reached with Confartigianato and its system of guarantees on artisan credit confirms the closeness of our Bank to the territory and the desire to accompany the companies operating in Sardinia, with particular attention to the artisan and smaller ones, in the challenges of current complex economic situation", said Cuccurese. « Credit is a decisive factor in allowing companies to seize the opportunities linked to growth, innovation, digital transition and green without forgetting liquidity », commented Maria Amelia Lai.

«Artisan businesses are going through a particularly negative situation», added Rau, «which is why this agreement was designed to help companies that are investing in competitiveness and growth. Now the priority is to support the needs of micro, small and medium-sized businesses, to accompany them in the process of strengthening and development to guarantee their operational continuity with a view to strengthening them and accompanying them in their business".
