It is the after-game of Bari-Cagliari. At the San Nicola, the 1,300 rossoblù fans crammed into the segment next to the south curve are delirious about promotion to Serie A. While the celebrations are unleashed on the island, the rossoblù bring triumph under that sector to Claudio Ranieri, the coach who was the architect of the company that will remain in the annals of football. In Girasole, along via Nazionale, Daniele Palmas, a cook by profession and an art lover, captured a moment of that exultation, last June 11, while Ranieri was carried in triumph by Lella and Altare.
Palmas, who created the mural and was supported by a group of friends, needed just a few containers of paint, a few brushes and a little thinner to complete the work. Mixing everything with inspiration and enthusiasm, still alive from the conquest of Serie A, he created an iconic image of a sporting result that united all of Sardinia.
In the recent past Palmas has expressed his artistic vein with a mural dedicated to the memory of the entrepreneur Adriano Balloi.
