The summer sales begin today in Sardinia. The reductions will last 60 days, so they will continue until September 6th.
A turnover which, according to Confcommercio Sud Sardegna estimates, is around 25 million euros (in 2023 they were 23 million).
The families who will purchase during the sales will be around 163 thousand, and will spend 154 euros on average compared to 146 last year. 70 euros, however, for each Sardinian.
«The data are similar to last year, slightly growing - explains the director of Confcommercio Sud Sardegna Giuseppe Scura - Thanks to the decrease in inflation, purchasing power has increased and therefore we expect that the summer sales season will be more successful than to the last previous years".
Italian Fashion Federation and Confcommercio recall a series of fundamental indications, both for merchants and customers, to make purchases following safety and transparency standards:
EXCHANGES - The possibility of changing the item after it has been purchased is generally left to the discretion of the shopkeeper, unless the product is damaged or non-compliant. In this case, the retailer is obliged to repair or replace the item and, if this proves impossible, to reduce or refund the price paid. However, the buyer is required to report the defect of the garment within two months from the date of discovery of the defect.
EXCHANGE TEST - There is no obligation, it is left to the discretion of the shopkeeper.
PAYMENTS - Credit cards must be accepted by the shopkeeper.
PRODUCTS FOR SALE - Items offered on sale must be of a seasonal or fashionable nature and be susceptible to significant depreciation if not sold within a certain period of time.
PRICE INDICATION - Obligation to indicate the normal selling price, the discount and the final price.
