At the Arbatax Park Resort, change begins with the landscape. The resort continues to evolve and embarks on a new chapter in its history, with operational management entrusted to the Falkensteiner Michaeler Tourism Group. The renovation project extends to these two hotels and is designed to maintain continuity, preserving materials and geometries that recall Sardinian tradition.
The first preserves the soul of a small Sardinian village: stone arches, juniper beams, small squares, and glimpses overlooking the sea. The restyling of the 225 rooms aims to enhance the balance between authenticity and comfort, preserving the connection with the island. Strolling through the alleys of Borgo Cala Moresca, you feel like you're in a peaceful setting, offering its many guests a precious reminder of traditional Sardinian architecture, made of antique materials, wrought iron, and the scent of nature. And then there's the sea, always nearby: the Cala Moresca cove is just a few minutes' walk from the rooms.
The innovation project also looks ahead: by 2028, Borgo Cala Moresca will become a Falkensteiner hotel with approximately 250 rooms, and Monte Turri will be its beating heart, a boutique hotel dedicated to exclusive hospitality.
Perched atop the highest point of Capo Bellavista, Monte Turri remains one of the resort's most evocative corners. Its 17 rooms overlook the Ogliastra sea and offer a more private setting, designed for those seeking breathtaking views and a slower pace. Here, the Adults Only experience blends with panoramic terraces, a swimming pool with solarium, and a restaurant suspended between sky and sea. Monte Turri's elegant atmosphere combines the sense of freedom of its captivating nature with an unwavering dedication to detail. The enchanting Ogliastra preserves a Sardinia that is still rugged and so authentic: coves accessible by sea, paths that embrace, and time that pursues tranquility.
With tourism increasingly fast-paced, Borgo Cala Moresca and Monte Turri have chosen to slow down, leaving the experience to be told by the landscape, the sea, and the stone.
The Arbatax Park Resort, located in the heart of one of the five recognized Blue Zones in the world, accentuates its connection with the surrounding landscape: this part of Sardinia remains one of the most recognizable and fascinating in the Mediterranean.
