The second edition of "Canterino Turritano," the singing competition for young talents, met with applause and acclaim from the public, concluded yesterday evening, Monday, January 5th, at the Filippo Canu Hall in Porto Torres. A total of 22 very young artists, aged 5 to 12, performed two songs each, songs by their favorite artists, reinterpreted with technique and professionalism, following the suggestions of Gavino Ruiu, musical director of the event, organized by the Pro Loco and sponsored by the Municipality of Turritano.

Special guest was twelve-year-old Veronica Satta, winner of the second edition of the "Porto Torres Music Contest," held on December 28th. Her unique voice captivated the audience. At the end of the evening, the young singers received awards: a necklace for the girls and a bracelet with their names engraved for the boys. Recognition plaques were also presented to the municipal administration, represented by Councilor Maria Bastiana Cocco, Gavino Ruiu, Veronica Satta, music technician Fabrizio Russo, and the owner of the "Mellow" clothing store, who provided the outfits worn by the young artists.

The evening's presentation was entrusted to Commander Pier Luigi Fiori, who professionally conducted a singing competition that highlighted the talents of the performers.
